    The hood switch problem on Land Rover vehicles has become so common, Land Rover has updated this part to combine the switch/sensor and latch together.  

    This sensor and hood latch combo make up the right/passenger side hood latch.

    A hood switch alone is no longer available separate.

    When the sensor fails, the "Bonnet Open" dash light may stay on or the alarm intermittently sounds for no apparent reason.  

    This simple, inexpensive part could be all you need.
